With twenty years’ experience as a collector, Cheryl Moody is an art advisor with a unique eye for fine art and an interior design degree which provides her with a heightened understanding of residential and commercial environments.

As an independent consultant, she has resources from all over the world, including galleries and directly from the artists’ studios, and she builds fine art collections to best suit individual tastes.

Founded by Cheryl Moody, CMCA is a fine art consulting firm created to provide advisory services to corporate and private collections through the architecture and interior design community. She is also the president of Hi Honey Productions and the creator of several TV and film projects which feature contemporary art as “the star.”

Ms. Moody completed the Interior Design Program at Parsons School of Design in New York City, realizing her desire to become more in tune with her creative side. In addition to being a former employee of Sotheby’s, Ms. Moody has been a patron of the visual arts for many years and grew up in a household where her mother, a multi-talented artist, trained her children to appreciate and develop their artistic bends.

She has been a consultant for both private and corporate art collections, recommending new and emerging artists for personal and public art commissions. An avid collector of fine art, she hosts events for emerging artists each year, looking for new talent to bring to the United States. Several pieces from her collection have been on loan with museums and universities, published in catalogs and/or featured in art books and guides.

Ms. Moody has served as chair, committee member and fund-raiser for countless charitable organizations, focusing on non-profits which serve under-privileged children whose needs can be addressed through the visual arts.
